My name is Mitchell and I am 11 years old. I live in Knowle-West and I am in year 7 at Bridge Learning Campus.

I live at home with my mum, one brother and three sisters. My mum is busy looking after my younger siblings and there is not really much to do in or around the house so I’m really glad that I’ve been coming to Break Free.

I have been going along to the sessions at The Park (Daventry Road) and have really enjoyed the different activity options as there is always something new and exciting to do.

When I first came along to the sessions I was nervous because I didn’t know anyone but the staff and volunteers were really kind and playing sports and team games helped me to make friends.

Being involved has helped me get better with my group skills and has really helped me to talk to people that I wouldn’t normally have much to do with.

Having lunch is also really helpful for me and gives me the energy for all of the football we play together!
