Patrick and his team at Barrs Court are supporters of Bristol Together Championships which was introduced to help eradicate the fractures developing in the city. Bristol has been described as a thriving and innovative global city which is home to a wealth of cultures and creative ideas. Despite the many positive connotations surrounding our city, it is no secret that Bristol is a city divided, with issues surrounding poverty and deprivation.
The support recieved from Barrs Court has enabled us to deliver the Bristol Together Championships which sets out to tackle these inequalities that divide the city. Barrs Court’s valued support includes, but is not limited to: sponsoring a vehicle to allow us to transport children accross the city, enabling those children the opportunity to explore different postcodes, tshirts to help create uniformed teams and cohesion, and allowing us to take a team of 20 young people to Bristol’s twinned city on an amazing visit to Bordeaux.
We are extremely grateful for the continued support from Patrick and his team, which has enabled Bristol Together Championships to run at the highest level. It’s refreshing to come across a company that is so passionate about supporting and enabling positive change, and with the help of companies like Barrs Court, we endeavour to continue to breakdown the barriers that our young people face today – creating a more united city, more opportunities, and raising aspirations for a positive future.
